I still remember the very first day I entered the campus of LBSITW. The 18 year old me was quite ambitious and at the same time confused about my future. But all thanks to my parents and teachers for having faith in me and letting me choose my path. The freedom of thought and positive energy provided by the campus, prepared me to face the outer world.
During the most important and critical four years of life, my campus provided me a secure environment to think, learn, comprehend and analyse many technical and non-technical aspects. The inter and intra cultural festivals conducted by students not only provided a platform to exhibit my talents, but also helped to develop the coordination and leadership skills in me. Being an active member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and NSS (National Service Scheme) in (my) college I got opportunities to collaborate with students of other colleges and work on new ideas. Slowly and unknowingly my personality was being groomed.
The day I got my SSB call letter, my classmates and teachers were as excited as I was. The support which I got from my HoD and department, boosted my confidence. The classes provided by placement cell, on spoken English and ‘how to face interviews’ came handy during my SSB preparation.
Today I am in a completely different environment, far away from my home and alma mater. But the light which guide me through every day was lit from here.
